It just made me ship Pete and Peggy even more than I already do. When Pete shows Peggy into his office, I was like, “Oh snap, he’s gonna tell her.” I mean, look at his face!

And then…gah! He tells her! And it’s so adorable!

“I love you. And I want to be with you.”

And then Peggy was all like, “Nooooo! I had your baby and then GAVE IT AWAY.” And she LEFT. And then my heart broke.

Hello :-) I am a die-hard Pete/Peggy shipper. I know, I know, she deserves better, she’s happy with Abe, the two have taken different paths, Trudy is adorable, etc etc. I don’t care! I still want these 2 together :-) There’s something that striked me in the Pete teaser video for Season 5 (“Pete is back”): when they showed those glances at the end of The Rejected. I’ve always thought that scene to be the final tombstone of their relationship, i.e. their final goodbye and moving on. So, why showing it (with the caption “Desire is back”!) in a teaser, where, more or less, there has to be an anticipation of future themes, if not for suggesting that this plotline might come back eventually?
